Newcastle Rugby League: Steve Gordon returns, Nathan Ross sidelined at Kurri Kurri Bulldogs | Newcastle Herald

STEVE Gordon is set to return to Newcastle Rugby League this weekend while Kurri teammate Nathan Ross still remains a little way off. Gordon, who had two NRL games with the Knights in 2007, lines up in the centres when the Bulldogs travel to meet undefeated newcomers The Entrance on Sunday. The former Wests and Central player missed Kurri’s narrow loss to the Butcher Boys on Good Friday awaiting official clearance from Group 21 club Greta-Branxton, where he signed last year before coronavirus saw the Upper Hunter competition cancelled. Ross (calf) was also on the sidelines for Kurri’s season opener, having been washed out against Maitland in round one, and will be a “couple of weeks at least” according to Bulldogs…
